With a Special Focus on the School Lunch Program

U.S. and French leaders from dietetics, food industry, food service, culinary and research worlds gathered in April for this dynamic food and nutrition conference.
Against the culinary and cultural backdrop of the beautiful Vendee and
Loire regions of France, a series of presentations, roundtables, panel
discussions and field trips allowed participants to foster innovative
dialogue and explore new ideas in food and nutrition education.
Participants enjoyed guided tours of the region, including local food specialties and world famous chateaux and landmarks by local experts specially chosen for this program.
